You can replace a front panel object with a different control or indicator without losing all the editing options you selected for the object up to that point.
Complete the following steps to replace a front panel object.
Right-click a front panel object.
Select Replace from the shortcut menu to display a temporary version of the Controls palette.
Select a control or indicator from the temporary Controls palette to replace the current object on the front panel.
